Massive cast
iron 60° bed with precision ground surfaces is mounted on an extra
heavy-duty unstressed, filled fabricated Duo-stable™ engineered
base, designed for strength, vibration absorption and thermal and
mechanical stability. As a result, the STORM is over 20 percent
heavier than comparable machines.
